Absorbency
149 fl oz ISO 11948-1
Approximated real-life capacity
43 fl oz
Calculated, not measured: approximated from this product's ISO total of 149 fl oz.
Capacity is published two ways: ISO 11948-1 soaks the whole product in salt water (the lab total), DIN 13222 puts it on a test torso and adds liquid until it leaks (closer to use).
Across 280 products whose makers publish both, the second follows a curve: about a third of the ISO total for smaller products, falling to about 28 % at 5,150 ml.
The curve is typically within 12 %, but one product in ten is off by more than 30 %, and what a diaper holds in real use depends on far more: fit, body position, how fast and how often.

Description
The AMD Slip is a disposable all-in-one incontinence brief for adults with reduced mobility and heavy-to-severe urinary and faecal incontinence. It uses a hermetic, ultra-absorbent triple-layer pad for rapid urine channelling and is closed with a repositionable velcro-and-sealing-strip fastening system; 'Maxi Plus' is the highest of AMD Slip's five absorbency levels.
