Absorbency 372 fl oz marketed

Approximated real-life capacity 62 fl oz Calculated, not measured: approximated from this product's marketed figure of 372 fl oz, counted as 233 fl oz: figures above 7,000 ml are mostly rated from the materials rather than tested, and run about 1.6 times the ISO test. Capacity is published two ways: ISO 11948-1 soaks the whole product in salt water (the lab total), DIN 13222 puts it on a test torso and adds liquid until it leaks (closer to use). Across 280 products whose makers publish both, the second follows a curve: about a third of the ISO total for smaller products, falling to about 28 % at 5,150 ml. The curve is typically within 12 %, but one product in ten is off by more than 30 %, and what a diaper holds in real use depends on far more: fit, body position, how fast and how often. How we compare

Description Safari is a plastic-backed, tab-style adult diaper from Rearz Inc. printed with six safari-animal characters — Griffin the lion, Zack the zebra, Marty the giraffe, Lilly the hippo, Alex the monkey, and Johnny the parrot. It is designed to manage heavy urinary and fecal incontinence, with tall standing leak guards, front and rear elastic waistbands, big tapes, and a reinforced frontal tape landing zone; the current version has an 11,000 ml absorbent core.
